Ordering
What size should I buy?
As we partner with multiple brands, it is not possible to provide a universal size chart on products. Where possible, we have included the brand’s own size chart beneath the product on the product page. If you are still unsure, we recommend consulting the brand’s online store for more information.
Can I edit or cancel my order?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit or cancel your order once it has been placed, as our brand partners use many different systems and warehouses. This includes updating a shipping address, changing an item's size, quantity, or colour, swapping a product, or adding an item. Please order carefully!
Where is my order?
You will receive a confirmation email with tracking info when your order is shipped. If you feel like your order has gotten lost outdoors somewhere, shoot us an email at hello@insideoutdoor.co and we will do our best to help.
Not all of my order has arrived?
If your order contains items from multiple brands, they will be shipped from each brand’s respective warehouse. This is why you pay a shipping fee for each brand and it means your order may not arrive all at once. It will likely just be in a few different packages — which we think is even more exciting!
My order was cancelled?
Inventory on Inside Outdoor is subject to retail demand and is constantly changing. We do our best to make sure it is 100% accurate, but in very rare cases a product advertised may not have any stock left. You should receive a cancellation email notification when an item has been cancelled and you will not be charged for it.
Can I order for someone who is also a member?
We understand you might like to combine an order for a partner or friend who is also a verified member of Inside Outdoor to save on shipping costs and be a more sustainable shopper. We just require you to send an email to us at hello@insideoutdoor.co with your partner or friend’s full name and email address as well as the order number, so we can verify their membership and ensure the account does not get flagged for misuse.
What if I want to speak to someone?
We want to speak to you too! Contact us with any questions, concerns, or feedback. We will be sure to get back to you as soon as we can. That said, we are a lean team, so responses can take a few business days — especially if we are getting after it outdoors!
Shipping, Returns & Exchanges
Where does Inside Outdoor ship to?
Currently, all of our brand partners ship to Australia. Some brand partners are also able to ship to New Zealand.
Why are there different shipping charges?
Inside Outdoor does not stock any of the physical products that we sell on our site, which means our brand partners are responsible for shipping their products. This means you will pay a shipping charge for every brand in your cart.
E.g. if you have 3 items in your cart from 3 different brands, you will pay 3 separate shipping charges. These charges are automatically added together and shown as one flat rate at the checkout.
Think of it as though you’re shopping directly on each brand’s website — but enjoying the pro deal benefits and savings of being an Inside Outdoor member. To ease the pain of multiple shipping charges, we recommend purchasing multiple items from the same brand to hit the $150.00 free shipping threshold.
How do I qualify for free shipping?
Shipping is charged per brand. You will qualify for FREE SHIPPING over $150.00 per brand.
Shipping not available error at checkout?
This may be because you are trying to ship to New Zealand and your cart contains brands that do not offer international shipping. When shipping to New Zealand we recommend limiting your cart to one brand at a time — or confirming that every brand definitely offers this service. You can view each brand’s shipping policy on their brand page and on our shipping page.
What is your return policy?
Given the nature of our online marketplace, we cannot accept change of mind returns or exchanges. Our advice is to purchase carefully. If you receive a damaged or faulty product, we can help put you in touch with the relevant brand partner directly.
Membership
Can I change my email address?
To change the email address associated with your account, please email us at hello@insideoutdoor.co.
How long is my account valid?
Inside Outdoor Memberships are valid for 14 months, starting from the date of registration. At 12 months, we will send you a reminder email to renew your account. You will then have 2 months to provide supporting documents that show you are in the same role, or in another qualifying role within the outdoor industry. Once approved, the cycle resets and you’re account is valid for another 14 months. This is to ensure our pro members are properly vetted on behalf of our brand partners.
How do I renew my account?
If your account has expired, please send us an email at hello@insideoutdoor.co with your supporting documents and we will help you get access once again.
How do I reset my password?
To reset your password, visit insideoutdoor.co/account/signin and click “forgot password”. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Be sure to check your spam folder and if you have not received anything email us at hello@insideoutdoor.co.

What are Pro Deals anyway?
Pro Deals, also known as a Pro Purchase Program, are a way to recognise the people who keep the industry and outdoor dream alive! Whether you work for an outdoor brand in an office, or you’re on the front lines teaching people how to ski or climb, or if you keep these outdoor places safe for us — or from us — we think you deserve a deal on outdoor gear to keep doing your job and be a steward and advocate for the similarly minded outdoor brands that partner with us.
